Name: Robin Door: Pass - December 25th 'Birth'day Canon: Zone (precursor to D.Gray-Man) Canon Point: End of Manga Age: Robin's body is 15 but Julia had been older. Appearance: pretty little frankenstein History: Robin/Julia @ d.graymanwiki Personality: Not much is known about Julia, the soul that fuels the body, or Robin, the skin that the body wears. It matters little though, since 'Robin' is neither the Julia or Robin who had lived. Despite that, she still clings to what her life had been, carrying around a locket with a picture of both Robin and Julia inside. She keeps up the 'Robin' identity since that is the body that she has now, referring to Julia as her sister. Robin told Rinali that the real Robin was no longer of this world, that she is the akuma(demon) who 'wears' Robin. She doesn't mention being Julia either. Robin and Julia are both dead, and she knows that she is something all together different. Robin is a very amicable person, both kind an polite to strangers and easy to get along with. A gentleman for all intents and purposes. She can keep her cool in stressful situations, like being screamed at by the big, scary, boss off a restaurant she had to work in, or even getting shot at by her master. She's hardly unaffected by it, but in most cases seems to take it more with a sigh and a nervous chuckle rather then getting completely flustered. Robin comes off as very gender fluid/non-binary even if thats not vocabulary she would have. She dresses like a boy because that's what her body is, but didn't seem to mind being forced into a miniskirt and stockings when she had to work in a restaurant. While she's more comfortable in boy's clothes, she never complains about the outfit despite being obviously uncomfortable in it. She doesn't seem to lean too far in either direction when it comes to being masculine or feminine, particularly for the Victorian era where gender roles were very distinct. She has feminine qualities, but she puts forth a more male persona around others considering she's been living as the brother of her soul for however long, and is referred to as male by those around her. She's also very responsible, and knows her master well enough to try and make sure he doesn't forget things like he always does even though he fights her on it and ends up forgetting anyway. So then she has to take it upon herself to bring to him what was forgotten, across oceans if need be. Cross might treat her like garbage(he liked to put his cigarettes out on her forehead) but she still cares about him, and simply accepts his abuse without argument. In fact she faces most situations that way, accepting things as they come as best she can. It doesn't bother her when people comment on how strange she looks, it's like she forgets until it's pointed out. She doesn't lament her fate, instead she's determined to fight against her creator and free other trapped souls like herself. It was for that reason she found the strength to break free of the Earl's control, at least long enough for Cross to place a seal on her to keep her from turning back into the akuma. It proves a depth of willpower that most people don't have, considering there aren't any other 'free' akuma like her. Yet there is a vast lack of self-worth in how she views herself. She lets herself be horribly abused by her Master, and throws herself into fights with little care as to what happens to her. She's not expecting to survive the war and fights like she has nothing to live for. And the fact of the matter is, she doesn't. No family. No friends. She doesn't deserve those things. If by some twist of fate she does survive to be the last, there will be nothing left for her. She'll no longer serve a purpose. Powers and Abilities: She is essentially a ghost battery piloting a robot zombie corpse that had a magic arm frankensteined onto it. This gives her some neat skills. -more durable than most people and is decent in a fight. -the arm allows her to become an exorcist to kill other creatures like her who are pretty much soul stealing body snatchers. -there's a seal over her eye that gives her free will -unfortunately, using the arm drains the seal and one mistake and she can revert back into an akuma -so the arm is also a bomb that will take her out if that ever happens. -can sprout bladelike wings that let her fly -can use one of her mechanical eyes to detect other akuma |

☆ But can't tell if I've been breathing or sleeping
☆ Or screaming or waiting for the man to call
☆ And maybe all of the above
☆ Cause mostly I've been sprawled on these cathedral steps
☆ While spitting out the blood and screaming
☆ Someone save us
☆ Heaven help us now
